I want to be buried with a bag of Doritos, a picture of that chick from high school that I always wanted to bang but never did, my Jay-Z cds, my most expensive pair of kicks (so they don’t get sold or something), and a certain DVD titled Phat Black Wet Asses 2.
I don’t really delete my accounts from websites, unless I just totally stop using them and I’m 100% I don’t like the site anymore. My only mistake was having my Last.fm sit there since 2007, deleting it, and then having to re-register again because I realized I never gave it much of a chance in the first place.
Blackplanet… hahaha. Yeah, I was 100% I was not going to use that again.
I feel like people act like bitches. If you get owned in some kind of ‘conflict’ on a website and you delete your account to save face, that’s very lame. What’s especially lame is announcing to everyone you’re deleting your account.
To me it’s wack to see people always delete their accounts, and then keep signing back up. They say they’re leaving, but they come back. What’s the point? Is it somehow the end of the world that you just leave your shit there but only use it rarely? I mean, you do realize Google indexes all this stuff, right? Cached pages and archive history are always still around. Who are you hiding from?
And do you notice, when they come back, they always have new fucking personas? Oh, now they’re hard now… they’re stone cold. They don’t care about anyone now, but before they were trying to be friends with everyone.
